Four Oystercatchers

Not easy to spot sometimes…there are always one or two more in the group when they fly off in alarm. The orange beaks give them away. This was painted on a flat stone found on the beach. A piece of iron too…the binding medium is rabbit skin size. True gesso involving chalk with the size forms the base upon which I build. The surface is sealed to protect it from the air. This piece is presented on limed board, framed but without glass. 38x29x6cm framed dimensions.  I’m happy to send a photo of the presentation. The cost of postage is not included in this price.
