Recent Fall

This piece is built up over several layers and has become akin to an object rather than a sheet of paper. Integrated into the surface is the red and white chalk of those remarkable cliffs. The coarser matter  is Carr stone…coarser than the chalk. The medium here is true gesso (rabbit skin size and chalk) …I’ve added blue and yellow artist pigments…everything else was found on location.  Unframed work. Handmade cotton rag paper. The cost of postage is not included in this price.
