Sighting the First Tern, Portland Harbour

True gesso, watercolour with site earths on handmade cotton rag paper. 14x19cm paper size. The white of the terns was so very different to the white waves. I could hear them calling to each other across the harbour…thanks to the quiet during ‘lockdown’.
